About NHS National Waiting Times Centre
The NHS National Waiting Times Centre is an NHS Special Board made up of two centres of excellence - the Golden Jubilee National Hospital and the Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre.
As Scotland’s national hospital, the Golden Jubilee:
- Receives referrals to reduce patient waiting times in key elective specialties;
- Is a major centre for orthopaedics.
- Has a responsibility for a range of regional and national heart and lung services.
The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre is recognised as the national NHS and public sector conference venue.
