NHS Inform wishes to update people in Scotland on the PIP breast implant issue. Here you will find the link to the latest information from the UK Regulatory Authority, the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) and the Expert Group advice for the UK.
NHSScotland advises all women who have concerns about their breast implant to contact the surgeon and organisation who put the implant in. Women who received an implant on the NHS in Scotland are unlikely to have received a PIP breast implant
