Grief and support

Grief and supportThis section explains both the physical and emotional effects you may experience after someone who you have known has died. There is also information available about people and organisations that may be able to provide support.

Grief is a normal response to the death of someone close. It is often felt as a yearning for the other person. At times the yearning can be so strong that it feels like very real, physical pain.
